Louisiana native and self taught artist Danny DeLancey has been painting in New Orleans' historic French Quarter for over a decade. Widely known for his vibrant acrylic paintings, Danny's artistic career also includes work in graphic design and directing several art galleries in New Orleans. Danny's versatility and wide artistic range (surrealism, geometric abstraction, architectural work, and more) exhibits an immense passion and enthusiasm for art that is often contagious, and he is always happy to share tips and tricks with aspiring young artists. Danny's artwork hangs in private collections across the United States and upwards of seventy different countries.

DeLancey began painting in the famous Pirate's Alley before opening his own gallery in July of 2020. His current series, "The Stroll," symbolizes the belief that despite hard times, one can get dressed up, go for a stroll, and experience the excitement and wonder of life.

Danny has appeared alongside his artwork in CW's The Originals, Marvel's Cloak & Dagger, Showtime's Your Honor, and CBS' NCIS: New Orleans.

“Whether it’s traveling, teaching, or painting in public, I feed off both the energy of the people I meet and the experiences I have. I am an explorer, a romantic and an adventurer. I take all of these moments and try to capture them in my paintings to share with others.”
